Jeremiah 29:11-14

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will here you. You will seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you, declares the Lord.

Great fabric store

Hi my name is Rachel Locke and I'm a fabriholic. . .

I just found(through some of the blogs I follow) this great shop run by a husband and wife team. (Wish Brad and I could do that, course I would prolly hoard all the fabric we were suppossed to be selling.)
I love the section where you can pick out pre put together bundles. I always have trouble picking out things to go together.
Go check it out. The service is fantastic.

Hawthorne Threads

Wonder how they came up with the name?

Advice

Ok so I am working on this Red/Aqua quilt. I tried to do it rather random with no seeming pattern. (which for as random as I am in personality I can't do random in sewing to save my life!!)
Well it has erked me since the beginning.
I keep wanting to make it. . .Do something!!
I have it mostly sewn. And for the most part no material the same is touching.

Except for a few spots.

A few others. So my question. Do I leave it as is. Or do I go and switch some of the blocks so no 2 the same are touching. I don't want to rip any seams, but I would rather do it now than get it completed and have it bug me. So to rip or not to rip?

UGH!!!!!

Just a quick post about a few things that aggravate me.
1. My wonderful little kittie that I was feeling bad about having to giveaway peed on my fabric scraps. Again!!!!! My yarn has been peed on(3x) had to throw some away. My bed has been peed on (at least 6x). A box of fabric that I have separated fabrics, used for the kids doll quilts (separate post) was peed and pooped on! Yuck!! Random stuff in and around my room has been peed on. (too many times to count).
Fabric is expensive enough. I don't need this.
*edited* None of the fabric I use to make things to sell or swap was harmed*end edit*
2. Our local school district is giving students Macbooks instead of textbooks. Mississippi is last in the nation in education. So we decided to take away the books and give them computers? I am all about teaching them technology and helping them learn skills that will help them later in life, but to take away textbooks? The other thing that aggravates me about this is they are using tax dollars to do this. 2 of my kids go to a christian school and 2 are homeschooled. We pay for our kids education, why do I have to help pay for others? I am help paying for a kids laptop and I can't even buy my daughter one. Vouchers never looked so good.
Pictures and funner things to come.
Thanks for letting me unload. What are your thoughts?
